Etch Equipment Engineering Manager – LAM
**General Description**

Please follow the link below to apply and a ManpowerGroup recruiter will connect with you on next steps: This position is for a LAM Equipment Engineering Manager in Etch. The LAM Manager will be responsible for all of the LAM Equipment Technicians and Engineers (~150 people). The candidate must be knowledgeable of semiconductor equipment and be able to learn LAM Etch equipment quickly (Kiyo, Flex, Metal M) in high volume manufacturing (24x7). Upon acceptance, the candidate will be expected to complete ~2 months of training to prepare for success in the LAM Manager role. Upon completion of training, the expectations are:
* Manage the LAM Equipment team in a positive manner by developing/teaching how to solve problems and make continuous improvements.
* Lead problem solving activities with a structured methodology and be able to forecast future problems to solve before they become high visibility issues.
* Responsible for the development, training and performance management of a team of approximately 150 employees
* Manage direct reports on an ongoing basis with fairness and accountability for costs, schedules, productivity, and performance standards, while driving for exceptional results
* Lead continuous improvements for excursion prevention, defect reduction, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
* Be organized in all activities despite constant change.
* Achieve challenging targets for equipment performance.
* Meet commitments and achieve due dates.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related field
* Prior management experience required-Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
* Semiconductor processing knowledge and specifically Etch knowledge are required
* Experience in Foundry business environment
* Experience managing, mentoring, and training a team of both exempt and non-exempt employees
* Successful candidates will be detail and task-oriented, placing high value on customer service, teamwork, and flexibility
* Energetic and positive attitude, adaptable to change, and a desire for excellence are required
* Computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required
* 14nm or beyond S.LSI processing knowledge preferred
