Sr. Compensation Analyst
**General Description**
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to join the team! The Sr. Compensation Analyst will be responsible for the design and implementation of compensation plans that drive the development and positioning of compensation programs, as well as, assist in the creation of the annual compensation strategy that drives the compensation programs. Specific Job Duties: Additional job duties include, but are not limited to:
* Conduct forecast analyses and design and implement design recommendations on compensation programs, including, but not limited to, base pay structures, retention, annual bonus plan, incentive plans, relocation plans etc.
* Develop, implement and communicate incentive programs like annual bonus plans, incentive plan and others.
* Responsible for all employee bonus & employee referral bonus payouts.
* Conduct job evaluations to ensure that positions are appropriately leveled.
* Advise HR team and business managers on all compensation related questions
* Proactively identify compensation issues and propose specific solutions.
* Communicate and Collaborate with other HR members to resolve compensation issues.
* Participate in annual compensation benchmarking process by being the main point of contact for all compensation data.
* Participate in local, regional and national wage surveys.
* Analyze market data and recommend modifications to salary structure as needed to ensure current compensation structure supports career movements within and across job families.
* Develop annual salary budgets and business impact analysis based on market data.
* Responsible for internal calibration for annual merit process.
* Develop and update all policies, processes and guidelines for all compensation areas.
* Support successful implementation of the HRIS system.
* Coordinate and partner with payroll to ensure accuracy of information and timely payouts.
* Ensure accuracy of data and timely submission for all internal as well as external compensation audits.
* Draft and check accuracy for all compensation communication and documentation.
* Ensure compliance with applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements.
* Liaison with North America companies on compensation related items.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum # Years Required:
* 7+ years of progressive experience, with majority in compensation roles.
* Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent industry experience required
* Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, Tools:
* Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong program management skills and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to exercise good judgement and handle confidential information
* Advanced knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of Workday and other HRIS systems highly desirable
* Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate.
* Demonstrate ability to establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levels of the organization
* Creativity, innovation and the ability to think 'out-of-the-box' in problem solving, organizational diagnosis, and solution generation.
* Sound business acumen
* Knowledge of Executive Compensation program preferred
